Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nourvo, a nutrition tracking application. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. This draft will be finalized before public beta launch; voluntary testers operate under this draft with our written assurance to formalize before opening to the general public.
What Nourvo is — and what it is not
Nourvo is a nutrition tracker designed to support users of GLP-1 medications by helping them track protein, fiber, weight, and dose adherence. Nourvo is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, dose, or substitute medical advice. All clinical decisions must be made in consultation with a qualified healthcare provider. The app includes an optional barcode scanner: your device camera reads a product barcode on your device to look it up (no photo or image is captured or stored), and you can use the app without enabling the camera. Camera-based photo upload and AI food recognition are not part of the Services today.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are using Nourvo under a healthcare provider's recommendation, you remain solely responsible for your interpretation of any data shown by the app.
Account registration
You agree to provide accurate information at onboarding (date of birth, height, current weight, sex, medication regimen) and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at legal@nourvo.app of any unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) misuse the service for non-personal purposes; (b) attempt to extract data about other users; (c) reverse-engineer or scrape the service; (d) misrepresent your identity or eligibility. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
User content and data ownership
You retain ownership of all health data you enter (meals, weight logs, dose logs). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely to operate the service for you. We do not sell, share for monetary consideration, or commercially exploit your personal health data.
Subscription and payment
Nourvo is currently free for all voluntary testers. A subscription model is planned for future versions; any pricing changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance with an opportunity to cancel before any charge.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Nourvo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or fitness for any clinical purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months — currently zero for free users.
Account termination
You may terminate your account at any time via Settings or by emailing legal@nourvo.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practical. Upon termination, your personal data is permanently erased per the Privacy Policy.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, where CLICKMIX LLC (the operator of Nourvo) is registered. Disputes will be resolved by good-faith negotiation first; the final Terms will specify the venue and any binding-arbitration terms on counsel's advice, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
